As Vincentians, we meet the second and fourth saturday of each month.
We provide assistance for electric and water bills. We directly pay to the utility company. The process is simple but will require an interview. You will be required to bring the utility bill and show identification.
If you are unable to visit us, we will every effort to come and meet with you. Please contact us at 843 424 3820. We will call you and set up time for a home visit. Two Vincentians will make the home visit to talk with you to determine the type of assistance you require.
If you need food, please visit us on Wednesday between 4 and 6 PM. No appointment is necessary but please bring some form of identification. You can come to our food pantry each week. If you need financial assistance, please make an appointment by calling 843 424 3820. At the appointment, two Vincentians will speak with you about the assistance you require and your situation. We make every effort to provide assistance and review each request on a individual basis.

We are aware of other programs in the area and provide suggestions on other programs to contact for assistance. However we are not associated with any other groups in the Grand Strand area.
Joining as a Vincentian is both rewarding and easy. You can be an active member which requires you to attend our regular meetings and volunteer at our food pantry or making home visits or conduct interviews. We review each request carefully and on a case by case basis. If a financial need can be demonstrated, we generally provide assistance for utility bills, reasonable medical costs (prescription medication) and in some instances rent. Identification, appropriate documentation and demonstrating need will be required. All payments are made directly to the service provider. We provide no cash assistance.
We provide some service to the homeless. We are able to offer food, sleeping bags, toiletary kit and single burner stove.
